Runs and drives. New fuse block, fuel filter and line. Runs good when sitting still, but if you touch it, it starts to run rough. Has some real fine dirt in the tank so I think it's clogging the tank filter. Cleaning the carb doesn't help. Needs a tube in front left tire. Has two decks, the one on it is almost new. Has hub caps and integral hitch. I think it's worth my asking price just in parts. New battery. I have too many projects and would like to see this go to a new home and see some use!

1996 Wheel Horse 520H With 48 Inch Deck

I have a 1996 520H Wheel Horse for sale. The tractor has just over 800 hours on it. It comes with a 48 inch deck. The deck is a 1995 and has over 1,500 hours on it, as it came brand new with my 312-8 that I sold several years ago. This 520-H has the swept front axle so it can handle a 60 inch deck. I just replaced the battery and the deck belt this summer. The engine is a 20HP Onan and it starts right up but requires the full choke. The transmission is an Eaton 1100-062, hydrostatic. The deck is in rough shape but the spindles appear to be in good working order. The right rear tire has some cracking. The original operator's manual for the 520H is included, as is the original operating and maintenance instructions for the deck, plus the installation instructions for the deck. Also included is a new PTO belt and several miscellaneous deck wheels and rollers. Additional pictures available upon request. Asking $500.

Unfortunately my Father recently passed away, he was big fan of Wheel Horse tractors and a member of this site. He happened to be in the middle of rebuilding a couple different models at the time of his passing and now we have a ton of parts some in original packages that we have no idea what to do with. There are engine blocks, cranks, gasket kits, lights, seats, hoods, fenders, hitches, tires, tire weights, mowing deck, gauges etc - too much stuff to mention. The hope is that someone be interested in taking everything at a fair price. Attached are pictures, the boxes contain a multitude of parts. I can try to answer any questions if needed, simply would like to see everything go to another Wheel Horse fan.

Selling what i would call a "parts" tractor. Its far from perfect, but with a little time and money it could be a useful tractor.

Tractor has 925(ish) hours

runs and drives fine.

all "test lights" work

no leaks that i can see, but its dirty so dirt could be hiding any leaks

tires and rims are nice, has hitch for pulling things

hood is nice, floor boards

all the paint is faded

Plow is missing the lever to turn the blade itself

It does run and drive just fine, so you could stick a little time/money into it and have a very ugly, but very usefull tractor or keep it for parts

Engine is a kohler 14hp

Asking $250 dollars for the tractor and the plow. What you see, is what you get.

Ran when parked!

Wheel Horse tiller. This was at a house a block from an old WH dealer. Story goes from the son of the guy who bought it new installed it on his tractor and the ground was so hard it knocked his fillings loose! It sat in the back yard ever since. Unit DOES NOT ROTATE!! Idler pulley seized as well. Tines don't look too bad for the most part.

Last chance to save it. I believe its an RJ-58 but not sure. What you see is what you get. This has been sitting in a backyard for many years. I saved it from getting scrapped because I love the old stuff.

Sadly, the final property cleanup will be happening soon and it may just end up in the junk pile.

I don't know anything about this tractor (exact model, age, missing parts etc.) but it seems mostly intact.

Hopefully someone is interested in it. Not worth shipping so you would have to pick up in Colden NY.

Restored three years ago: new wiring, excellent Goodyear tires (no cracks), front wheel weights, new seat, lights all work, new battery.

This was one of my favorites. Used just to pull garden carts around the yard. Kohler 12 HP engine runs great.

Unfortunately, we are moving to a retirement community, and I don't have the space for it. This is the last of my reluctant downsizing.

PS: I have a set of rear wheel weights from a Simplicity, and I'll include them if it's bought before I have to move it this Saturday.

1988 wheelhorse 257-H. Bought five years ago. New Kawasaki 17.5 hp motor then. Great for someone with leg problems like me. clutch only used to start. Stick tranny. Motor runs smooth and strong. Excellent condition. Have extra starter and key switch. 42" deck that mows like a finishing mower on a golf course green. Reason is cable on front of deck for height adjustment is locked in place. Hit a buried stone and the third mandrel/spindle next to the side discharge chute on the right side dropped off the deck. Still in perfect working order, but there's nothing to bolt it to. Needs to be welded back onto deck.

I am selling a 48 inch snow blade for 260 series tractors. Looks like it could be made to work on the older ones. It looks like the top has a bend but the bottom touch’s the ground as it should. I will include brackets if someone is planning on using it for older tractor but I don’t have the brackets for 260 series. Asking 100.

I am helping a friend sell his one owner 1978 C-121. He bought it brand new at a Wheel Horse display at the Canfield fairgrounds in Ohio in ‘78. He has taken immaculate care of it but needs to part with it due to health issues. I have personally seen and driven it and it runs beautifully. The whole package includes the tractor with original weights and chains, brand new muffler, mower deck only used once( the original rotted but he kept the hardware as pictured) and an extra engine he bought in hopes of making it into a 161. The extra engine is a K341 rebuilt by a UPS mechanic. He would like to sell the lot as a whole and is asking 1,350 or offer. I have a all original-except for the seat-1971 800 special.8hp Briggs &Stratton with 3 speed peerless trans.

The only thing it’s missing is the deck and head light cover.

Runs well and shifts through all the gears as it should.

It does smoke some and could use a rebuild.

Up for your consideration is a Wheelhorse 653 with implement lot, Family owned sense new ,Motor upgraded to a new Kholer 8 Hp around 1986 and used sparingly sense then . The paint looks good from 20 ft but it is a long way from show quality ,new front tires and the back are original ,all hold air ,the battery is weak and will need to be replaced in the near future, the original gas tank has a hole drilled in it and a new one is located on the engine ,the hood was modified to a tilt hood and the hood has holes in it that were closed with screw heads, it comes with a 32" mower deck that has lots of patch plates on it but the gears seem to mesh properly ,wheelhorse 42" snow blade ,wheelhorse AC675 cultivator ,both rear and mid mount with shovels ,planet jr planter with plates ,potato plow ,will not separate selling as a lot as is where is ,cash on pick-up no exceptions ,no holds ,price is firm

Up for sale is my 1995 520H, with just over 700 hours, and a 50" grader blade. NO I will not separate the two. Since I've had the tractor I have changed out all fluids and filters (engine and transmission), greased it up, new LED headlights, new fuse holder, a new battery, and a steering wheel knob. Perhaps the most shocking part of this tractor is the 9-pin connector isn't smoked, all warning lights work, and the harness isn't hacked up! The tractor starts and runs fine but has a drinking problem (very thirsty) and every once in a while I'll need to close the choke a little to calm her down but a new carb is included with this sale. Also included in this sale is a grader/belly blade that has a replaceable cutting edge. This belly blade is originally a 5XI blade but has another mounting bar welded in the frame to allow it to work on the 3/4/5/C series. Now for the bad: the volt gauge sometimes works (it has power so it is the gauge) and the gas gauge sticks which I never cared that much to fix either of them since I just use the machine. All four tires hold air fine but one of the rears is missing a hubcap. $1,000

A Wheelhorse C-165 8 speed, nice solid tractor everything works and operates as it should, all lights works(stack will be removed before sale)unknown hours it was only an option for the 165, but the 16hp single lung cast iron K series motor starts right up and runs strong. It will need new motor mounts. Transmission shifts smooth, package comes with plow w/optional down pressure bar if you choose instead of your trunnions chain, a set of tire chains, a set of Toro brand front wheel weights and a set of generic rear wheel weights, and lastly a full set of hub caps that are in decent shape they can be cleaned up, $1000 obo. I have two Wheelhorses. The 518-H, sn 11344, ID #31180E01, and a 416-8, model #31160804 sn 2000562. The 518 runs and mows. The 416 ran well until the suction fuel pump failed. A new pump didn't fix it. $500 for both. The 416 has a Kohler engine and the 418, an Onan.
