Sorry to say I do not know much about this tractor. I inherited from father-in-law and he was running it before he passed 3 years ago.

I will try to answer any questions.

I’m sorry for your father’s passing.  I hate to say, but the last tractor I bought in that similar condition without it running in person was something like $150-200 with the deck.  It might be worth getting it going (we can even help!) to prove it’s worth more.

Thank you for the kind words. I just threw a # on it from a quick look at ebay and this site. Dealing w/ a lot right now, but I might just try getting it running. Would a short video of running be worthwhile?

A short video of it running would be good!  I'd be in at $250 if it runs.  And I'm local.  Corfu,NY.

If/when you get it running I'd suggest that you move the mower drive belt to the inner groove (closest to the engine) and snug up the mule drive on the front of the tractor. That way you could engage it and let folks here how it sounds. :)

@dgmopar 8hp and I'd be surprised if it didn't run. Those things are dang near bullet proof.

I own a B-80 and a B-100.  I messed with the engine on the B-80 and now it won’t run.  That tractor has been in our family since the early 1980’s.  Handed down to me from my dad, so I feel bad that it’s not running.  Always Stored indoors though.

Battery is shot, so had to hook it up to truck battery and it took a few shots of starting fluid, but she is running! :greetings-clappingorange: Problem is full video is larger than what is allowed to attach. I took video of video on pc for a few seconds to be able to attach. If you would like to see full email me at donald.gibson.ny@gmail.com and I will send you a Google Drive link.

    Thanks for you interest.
