Wheel Horse 416-H with 48" mower deck

1993 model in good condition with 48" mower deck. Onan P216 16hp twin cylinder engine. Starts easily, runs smoothly, good hydraulics, no leaks or smoke, and all tires hold air. Mower deck has been reinforced with welded steel plates and cuts good. Hour meter reads 1009 but is not working. Just greased the deck and tractor and sharpened the mower blades. Battery replaced in 2025. I recently bought this on the spur of the moment thinking I could use an additional small tractor at my garden but have now decided against it. Cash on pickup on west side of Cincinnati, OH.

Tractor will run but runs rough, might be valve seat. Started running rough one day a few years back while mowing. Parked it and never worked on it. It has sat for a few years and I put some gas in the gas line the other day and fired right up with new battery. Will keep the wheels/tires in the pics and replace with other 520 wheels/tires. The frame was broke when I got it due to the heavy 5' deck. I welded it back up and is good now. I mowed with it for 5 years afterwards and frame is still good. Everything else is original. Im just not good with engines.

This sheet metal set, including C Series Hood, Dash piece, Seat Bracket, and Left & Right-Side Covers, and Left & Right Floorboards was sandblasted, epoxy primed, and painted the OEM Wheel Horse Red Paint.

The painted set is not perfect, a little metal pitting on one of the floorboards, a few little imperfections in the paint here and there as I'm a rookie painter, but this is a nice painted set of sheet metal to freshen up your C Series Wheel Horse!

I was planning on taking this 418-A to the big show in June so I asked a question in another topic conversation. Would have given me a good excuse to finally go and check it out but after asking about selling it there, got many messages with interest in it so now will just take a guess as it`s worth and try to sell in the classified to see how it goes.... Bought it 5 years ago and have done nothing to it except change oil and new gas line..... Just will never use it and need to downsize now....... I bought it from original owner who absolutely insisted the hours are original at only 70 hours!!! He was about 85 years old and had issues with health, moving and divorce so did not use.. It is not mint as he did use it as just a lawn mower so has some bumps and blemishes but its still super nice. Tires still show just a little of the nubs on them so i`m guessing he was right about the original hours.

I had to steal the deck from it to use on another tractor to keep mine mowing so this wont have a deck to go with it.... I will sell for $1500........ If you are a collector of these 1987 one year only tractors, I also have a 418-8 that I bought for parts only as it didnt run. Found it was only a bad fuel pump so it runs and moves under it`s power fine. At least 3 years ago when I ran it last. Has the electric lift which works. Tractor is rough but to restore or you need parts then maybe will work for you. I would like to keep for parts but all my other ones are single cylinder, so if you have in interest in both then will both together for $1800.... Call/text Jim

1962 Wheel Horse 502 with HY2

Here is my 502, its in its work clothes. It has the HY2 setup on it and original tires which are in decent shape. Ive had it running a few months ago, but no start now. I will update the status if I do get it running again. Very open to offers.

UPDATE: It now runs, I put on a new carburetor, cleaned the tank, and restrung the recoil. The HY2 is very strong, picks the front of the tractor of the ground if it isn't weighted.

This is the prototype for the aftermarket Power Steering Kit. It was built by Steve Myers @S-Tech in Ohio. It was built to present the power steering concept to Toro at a local Indiana fair event. I have more information available if you purchase this tractor.

Tiller up for sale. It comes with everything needed to mount, including the mid-mount pulleys, rear axle mount, upper assembly lift including the bronze bushings and shims, cable and clevis, cable tube and 2 belts. I've owned it for 20+ years and haven't used it in the past 8 years. I stopped using it because I started using a compact tractor with a much larger width tiller. The model number has faded with time off the tag. Looking at my notes, I have written down 07-36TL01, which would make it 1980-1983.

I had it running in the fall but it smokes and doesn’t have much power. The rear tires are good but one front needs a tube. The headlights work, and the hydro is strong when it was running. It also has a new condenser, rebuilt metal fuel pump, and a new battery. This definitely needs some work but I don’t need anymore projects right now.
