xi Series 2 stage 44" snow blower #79366

I have a USED Toro 2 stage snow thrower for the xi series tractors.  #79366  I have it on my NewHolland GT22(same machine as the toro 522xi)

I bought it a couple of years ago and finally had chance to run it this season and go thru its problems

It worked good when I first put it on but was noisy.

I found rusty and flaky pulley box pulleys. So the 4 of them were replaced with new, along with the belt

Then I found a worn bearing for the discharge chute. So that was replaced.

While I was in there I noticed the 2 idler gears were noisy. So they were replaced.

Since I was in that far I decided to replace both Jack shaft bearing and found the shaft was worn. So that was replaced as well.

The drive gear had some wear on it so that along with the drive chain was also replaced.

I also have a new cutting edge to go with it and the 2 bearings for out where the outer auger attaches to the sides.

There is close to $300 in new parts alone. It works perfect now, it just does not suit my needs.(I have too large of a parking lot)

I have video of it going thru 10-12” of snow and I can get some more pics for anyone interested. It is still currently on the tractor is you want to see it function in person.

I also have the complete owners manual for assembly, install and maintenance.

Remember, this is a USED machine so please dont expect perfection. It has some bumps, bruises, pealing paint and surface rust.
