Lee? Didn't know you had a WH. Pretty sure I've got the right person. Sold you the little blue 2-cycle engine this spring up in Maine.

Yep, 1960 WH Suburban, belt cover isnt quite right either. Should have diamond plate looking foot rests as well.

Here is the serial #424761 my dad has everything written down and the number to toro I'm certain he called them with the serial number and that's where he got the information. Why do you say its not RJ 59 so I can discuss with him I want to have the correct information for the listing. Thank you

@LaudraThe top of the hood has ridges on it which make it a Suburban hood.  The RJ hood did not have those ridges.  The RJ's had a solid seat, and the early Suburbans had a solid seat, then went to a seat with holes.  (The Ponds liked to use things up).  The tractor serial number would be lightly stamped in that plate that is between the choke and throttle cable levers. However your plate looks short, as the screws go through the plate not above and below it,  But it could have been cut off, so to be sure, clean it off gently or you could loose the serial number.  Here is what that plate should look like.

The motor has a 59 Serial number which kind of goes with the seat as you would expect an early 60's tractor to have parts made in late 1959.  They both used the 3 piece transmission.  And who knows what some previous owner might have changed.   As other have said, that is a homemade belt guard.  The muffler is a replacement, the original muffler is called a "shower cap"

    Overall a nice Suburban.

Do the rear Ag tires have the word "Silverton" on them.  If so they are original and help a little with the value.

Price varies depending which part of the country you are in. More in Maine and Texas than Indiana.  But you may be on the high side for a non running tractor, and no serial #.

If your dad bought this tractor new, or has any purchase paper work, look for a serial number on it.

    Good luck with your sale.

I also have another K91 motor that has original tank and was purchased as a parts motor so that is part of the listing.
