    It’s a real part and for rj/suburbans!  The chain hooks to it and you can turn the blade from the seat as this pulls the pin and a rope attached to the side of the blade allows it to be moved to different position!

    Ahh I see I have the other style blade. Mine is the original style blade. That is for the suburban 1960 61 model. I see now. Neat'o
