I picked up the 856 a couple years ago and just had it sitting around with mild use since.  I dont have plans for it and hate for it to just sit there collecting dust.  Its in very good original shape for a restore project, or leave as-is.

    First the bad:

-I installed a new head gasket but it still weeps.  Head is probably not completely flat.  Been meaning to fix this when i find the time, and can do so if need be.

-Some blue haze on cold start up.  Clears up in less than 30 seconds.  Runs very strong.

-One of the tie rods was taped together when i got it, so i installed one made from go kart parts.

    -Could use a seat

-Missing part of the battery hold down (bungee cord currently in place)

    Now, the good:

-I just rebuilt the carb, starts easily and runs and drives great

    -Tank is spotless inside

    -Great, silent deck

    -New battery

    -Starts and charges fine

    -8hp Kohler

For asking price of 500, ill include a pair of wheel weights (i believe they are 35lbs each).  Otherwise, shoot me an email and well talk.

    Thanks!

    Alex
