1971 Workhorse 800

Recommended Posts

I call this tractor "Mission Imposible" because it was restored in one weekend with my two nephews who were 12 and 14 at the time. Boy-O-Boy did those kids like seeing the blue flame shoot out of the exhaust stack when Uncle Bill was adjusting the carburetor!

Here is the "before" picture.

Here is the "after picture", I paid $50 bucks for the tractor from my local dealer.

We started at 7:15 saturday morning and put the key in the ignition 9:00 sunday evening to start it up!

This was my first Wheel Horse and the last one I will ever buy with a Tecumseh motor. Everytime I cut the grass something would break. Motor still ran when I parked her, but was smoking and knocking pretty bad. She's now a parts donor.
