bo dawg 476 #1 Posted June 22, 2009 I know the answer but want to make sure before I spend money. Will the same style spindle (older style) off a 48" deck be same as on a 42" deck? What I'm asking is does the 48" and 42" use the same spindle of its own style? :thumbs2:
Jim_M 178 #2 Posted June 22, 2009 Yes, they should be the same.
bo dawg 476 #3 Posted June 22, 2009 Thank you Jim, I thought they would be from just looking at them, but I've never changed one out to compare.
WheelHorse_of_course 99 #4 Posted June 22, 2009 There are a number of interchangeable versions. I know of 3 different styles of the double Dspindles that are easily interchangeable. If in doubt, check the parts book(s) Best of luck :thumbs2:
