crazy horse 0 #1 Posted June 12, 2009 im throwing around the idea of building a grader blade. what i need is some feedback on the pros and cons of mid attachment or rear attachment. looks to me that one would pull and one would push. i dont know if it would make all that much difference but its worth the input of those who have experience with them thanks . sawhorse 0 #3 Posted June 12, 2009 I've got the rear blade for the sleeve hitch. It works well for moving loose material. An improvement to the rear blade would be some sort of down pressure -- added weight would be the easiest solution for my setup. The down pressure would help disturb compacted lumps and the center hump in the driveway - something better tackled when the driveway is wet. Also it would help to have a wear bar. I will end up bolting one on in the not too distant future.
