eibbed 60 #1 Posted June 7, 2009 Gentlemen, I recently removed my electric PTO clutch from my Workhorse 800 because the switch has rusted up along with most of the rest of the tractor. I am wanting to sell the PTO, but I can't get it to work. I have tried every combination of putting juice to it that I can think of, but have gotten no response out of it. I would like to know how I can tell if it is any good or not. And if I should determine that it is not working , can it be repaired? Your comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated! jusjeepn 59 #2 Posted June 8, 2009 Dave, If you apply power to the clutch directly from the battery, does it "click" (engage)? If not, the coil is probably bad. I'd be interested either way if it's for a 1" crank! Send me a pm!
