wheel horse tiller?

Recommended Posts

I will post pictures tomorrow. I did not get a real good look at the tiller because it was dark. I did see the plate that bolts to the tractor with what appears to be pulleys and some type of small gear box or gear reduction. It is not like the one for a 312 at all. Any help would be appreciated.

There was a tiller made for the early 80's 200 series tractors. Being that these had vert engines, there was a relay idler pulley setup that went to a gear box similar. Also some of the older commando Vert tractors had tillers made for them, and they had 90 degree drives on them. I'll bet that you have found one of these. Honestly I don't think that you would be able to convert one of them to fit your 300 series but one never knows. Also without pics it's hard to make a definate identification.

That looks like it thanks. What year is your tractor? It must work with most vertical shaft tractors.
