Looks great! When spraying your hood, do you spray lengthwise or width wise?

Ian, I rattle-canned my 312-8 with pretty good results. Rustoleum Regal Red. I alternated the direction of the spray on the hood and fender pan- one coat crossways, one coat longways, then again for a total of four coats. Biggest thing I learned was not to apply too much too quick or it would gator-check (there's probably a better word for it?). When I did my 37" deck shell I forgot the "not too much" lesson and gator-checked some of it. :imstupid:
