Got the transmission on yesterday. I only have to do the hood, one wheel and find another rear silvertown tire.

Hi Everyone,

We have been busy the last couple weeks when it wasn't raining(a lot). The 1054 hood needs to be painted and the seat needs to be finished. I got the 550 Suburban going and it works pretty well. Having some ignition problems(misfires). We also got the scrapyard dump cart working again. I got it for free at a dump but the cart is pretty rusty. We just painted the wheels and installed tires that Chris(Coadster32) gave us. Next week we will also paint the rims for the RJ-35 and I'll post pictures of that.

For some reason the last couple days I got distracted but it was well worth it!!!!

HPIM2666.jpg

Those wheels were painted at 10:00am and baked in the oven, then assembled and put on the tractor at 7:30pm!!

I will be riding this tractor a lot at the show because the wheels are so dang shiny!!

That is awesome. I'm impressed!!!

When I was about your age I was messing with horses too, but I was being a moron putting a 440cc Cuyuna 2 stroke on a C series. It was quick as hell while it lasted. The engine still exists, the horse doesn't lol.

I will say your work is more quality than mine was, and when I turned 16 I forgot about them. 10 years later I got back into wheel horses and this forum helped me realize how lucky I was!!

Keep up the good work and don't let it fall on the back burner!

Finally finished the Suburban. Had to refinish the hood. This time I used valspar IH red and it layed out like glass. Also made a HL-5 bracket and added headlights. While at it I decided to redo the RJ-58 hood which also turned out nice.

I'm so excited!

I just picked up a pair of the American Farmer 7.60x15 tires for the 1054. I am going to put them on the GT-14 rims that are currently on the tractor.

Will post pics later this week
