Attaching a snow blower

Hey guys,

Just bought a 1979 snow blower to go on my 1983 GT1642, it attached great without any problems except, WHERE DOES THE BIG SPRING GO?? I know one end attaches to the eye bolt, but what does the other end attach to?

Try hooking it to the 3/4" round "bar" (between the frame rails) that the brake & clutch pedals pivot on.

I thought about that, but would that put too much stress on the welds for that cross bar?

When I set mine up I just got a rod that fit in the mid tach mount and hooked it there worked fine for me
