Any of you guys know what series/ model snow blower would go on this tractor? I would like to do some searching to see if I can find some pics on how they hook up and pulley locations etc. but I’m not sure what snowblower is correct for this unit

The snowthrower listed for you tractor is model 06-42ST05 but any back to 1973 will fit plus any later models.

DNA

1966-67 model ST-376

1968 model 6-1211

1969 6-6211 plus 6-9111

1970-72 model 6-6212 plus 6-9112 - All without front quick hitch so not a direct fit for 1973 and later tractors.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1973-74 model 6-6212 plus 6-9113

1974 model 6-6213 - (First model to include 8-0221 extensions without the front straight return - just a flat plate)

1976 model 6-6215 - This one -

1976 model 66-42ST01 - and this one are likely identical. The model number format changed.

1977 model 76-42ST01 - This one

1978 model 86-42ST01 - and this one

1979 model 96-42ST01 - and this one plus 1980 may be all the same. They started using a different model number for each model year.

1980 model 06-42ST01 - (Last 42" model to use 4 grooved rollers for the chute)

1981-82 model 06-42ST02 - (First model to use plastic collar for the chute but was a retrofit for older models. Last model to use wheels)

Ran into something strange today. Filled the tires on my rig. Went to take it for a victory lap and it started much harder then normal and it died and wouldn’t restart. So I pulled the fuel line from the pump and cranked it over and it pumped some fuel out not a ton but some. Dropped the bowl on the carb and there was fuel in it. Then I removed the fuel cap to eliminate that and I noticed the inline filter was completely empty. I took the fuel line off before the filter and blew back through the line and after that it ran well and the filter filled back up...

Sounds like it is time to remove the fuel tank and give it a through cleaning.

Yea I might have to do that, I put new fuel lines and filter on it when it was drained it looked in the tank and it looked clean. I guess that’s not good enough lol

So I thought I’d post a couple pics. The hood was in bad shape paint wise so I repainted it with what I had on hand I plan on a tear down and repaint eventually providing this unit will suit me needs I’ve filled my tires with fluid put on some chains built a little hitch adapter to move my little trailer around it will only be empty when moved with this as I don’t trust the hitch on this to haul a lot of weight with the ball on it like it is, new fuel lines and filter, carb clean new seat and some added springs so it doesn’t hit the fenders when bouncing new toggle switch and new lights
