D Series Replacement Gauges

Recommended Posts

BMW1

What brand of gauges are D series owners using for replacements?

I would like a matched set for a D200(oil pressure, transmission temp, volts or amps) with lights.

The ones on mine are in bad shape and don't work, except amps.  I think the sending units may be bad or maybe the inside of the gauges are bad from sitting outside for so long.

Thanks.

I used Sunpro.  One thing, you can use mechanical or electric for Oil pressure.  For the temp you have to use electrical  There isn't room in the hydro pump head for a mechanical head.

Paul is correct - no way in this world would a mechanical bulb fit inside that pump head, not to mention the top of them are larger which would interfere with the Sundstrand's tapped ports for the hydraulic lifts. I used a SW electric hydraulic oil temp gauge for mine since the original went totally whacky. Plan to add a matching voltmeter, oil pressure as well. Be aware, SW's newer gauges are not US made, so the quality isn't what it used to be. You can score individual old school "tombstone" needle SW gauges once in a while on eBay - but be prepared to shell out some serious money for those vintage old school US made look.

I found a nice chrome ring volt gauge at Rual King store for mine just last night. Looks really good with the stock oil temp gauge. But they had a pressure and temp gauge there of same mfg. They looked good too. You can see pic on my post “volt meter readings”

Hello fellow Horse Heads long time no post for me, life gets crazy & a lot of things change sometimes but anyhoo. So back a few years ago when I first got my 1994 314-H I had it at my shop going threw it. One of my customers walk past as im working and said, you know I think Iv got a Wheel Horse & im thinking "no you dont buddy". I give him my # to send pics thinking it was a big waste of time & after getting the pics I realized he did have a Wheel Horse! I hand shake bought it right there, asked him to bring it to my store & he said no problem. Well after almost 2 years it is finally in my orbit. I know very little about it other than his father-inlaw got it new and used it around his house moving snow and stuff. His father inlaw moved down south here when his daughter got married and gave the tractor to my customer because he had a farm & his the inlaw had no use for it anymore. Same with every barn find, "it was running when parked" 8 years ago, said one of the axel seal is leaking. Im happy and hope I can get it back in running order soon cause it is going to be handy around the truck farm!!

I will post Pics as soon as I reinstate my membership

Anyone be able to measure out the Top Link Bar for the 50” D Series Tiller?
Just finished rebuilding a tiller, have a adjustable type but would like to put a original type on like the manual has listed.
