D-series Oliver style

I like their use of the magnetic tray so they didn’t tape a sign to it!

@Tankman Well I guess it's time for me to admit I might have a obsession with tractors. Cause I didn't even notice the dog.

Nice looking tractors. The cute little doggie looks as if he wants a ride. :ROTF:

Who wouldn't? The owner appears neat 'n clean squared away!

There's an antique tractor show Sat., Sept. 29th featuring an Oliver. The annual show is a must do for the grandsons.

Franconia Mennonite Church, Rte 113, Harleysville, PA. 9AM-3PM.  Bucks-Mont Two Cylinder Club.

WHX??

Yeah they aren't much to look at but they do work. He probably went Oliver cause he can't afford a real one. They are one of my other favorite tractor but they command a price if you can even find one around here. Least it ain't green and yellow!

Let’s be a little more sensitive and politically correct gentlemen! That would be defined as “Cosmetically Challenged” in proper social terms now.

As my grandmother would’ve said, oh bless it’s heart! Lol!!

Which is a polite way of saying it’s ugly in the South!

All joking aside, I like the heavy usability of the big D-series. They are different in their styling especially the grill but that’s certainly outweighed by the power they have. It does look like someone did a good job with the paint work and creating the look they wanted. I can appreciate that even though it’s definitely not my style. But that’s the beauty of this hobby. We can make these things whatever we want and are only limited by imagination and budget usually. Better to see it green and running than crushed or rotting.

Chris to be completely honest here. I didn't notice the dog either. And we are not tractor obsessed. We are tractor dedicated.

Soooo...

Back a couple years ago my honey and I had a couple friends over to the house. One of them is a single guy. He was on a website where you swipe left or right to approve or disapprove of your potential partner. He said some sort of exclamation and I was like, what?!

It was a girl in the picture who was quite attractive and obviously couldn't afford to buy a whole complete shirt.

He showed her to me and then I showed her to my honey and my honey says that's a cute dog. Neither my friend or myself had even noticed that there was a dog in the picture!

Looks like a Patterdale Terrier. :handgestures-thumbupright:

As for the D/Oliver I think it looks good in green.

Go easy, Olivers have a soft spot with me, and they did a good job making it look like an Oliver:greetings-clappingyellow:

Then again my old Oliver isn't much to look at, but like a D its a beast of a worker.

I'm a fan of keeping it original, but since it has my last name on it I can't help but like it!

That thing is really cool Don. Gotta like those reach rods on the hydraulics not to mention the  blade carriage or front end!

I like Oliver's and not so sure it doesn't look better in Oliver colors!

My C-121 is painted black and receives  favorable comments. When asked why, I reply I had a lot of black paint. :D

How many businesses keep their vehicles in factory colours?

I would own it, drive it, and use it with those colors but remove the Oliver name and decals and put Wheel Horse ones on it. LOL!
