100F here on Thur and the central air blew a starting capacitor on the compressor.   53F this morning and the wood stove is burning.   Go figger!

They couldn't use the clear ones. You wouldn't see the writing. But they do hold up better in the rain! :)

 

P.S. They even make Chinet crappier than those old HD cardboard ones! :(

When I was a kid my brother and I used moms Chinet paper plates for targets with our BB guns once. She hollered out the back door " are those my good plates, we can't have nothing nice around here!"

The nice dishes came in the laundry detergent boxes along with glass ware. Or your local Gulf gas station could outfit a young family's kitchen quite nicely. :banana-linedance:

At Mobil we gave out steak knives and Green Stamps.
