How's about a little help identifying what this mower deck is?

I picked this up the other day and I would like to identify the width of it. It measures somewhere around 40 or 42 inches across the outside blades as extended. I'd like to know exactly how to identify it.

Also, what would this thing fit? I'm hoping to put it on a b or c series.

Maybe something like a 10 to 12 horsepower tractor that I'll put together during the winter so we can use this next spring.

Thanks!

Looks like the 42 inch SD that came on my 312 8.

@gwest_ca

Garry where should I be able to find the model number? There are two stickers on this deck that have been mostly painted over. I don't see anything to do with a model number on either one of them.

At one point in time an aluminum tag was captured by one of the bolts that mounts the left rear gauge wheel bar to the deck shell. Other than that I have no idea. Recent model decals seem to be in the same general area.

Thank you for that info Garry. There is a decal there.

Any thoughts what I could use to get a coat of paint off of that decal without damaging the decal itself?

Try a bit of brake fluid on a cloth. If the paint transfers to the cloth gently keep it up.

@gwest_ca is still the super ninja of owner's manual. I think he sleeps on a bed made of manuals to learn by osmosis all night!
