1967 yard ranger parts

Recommended Posts

Jdog_72

Hello I just recently got a 1967 wheel horse lawn ranger I’m in the process of restoring however I’m having trouble finding parts for it. I’m looking for the original steering wheel, throttle control, shift knob, right side foot rest, the hood grommet that goes around the gas tank, and seat. If you have any of these parts or know where to get them please let me know!! Thanks!

throttle control,

Mornin' and :text-welcomeconfetti:to :rs: !!!

By throttle control I assume you mean cable?

I have one here I'd sell for $10 plus freight.

You've found the absolute best and friendliest site to help with that tractor.

Try posting on the wanted section for the rest of your needs.

Lane Ralph @Lane Ranger has the rubber grommets for the fuel tank filler, but your hood looks like it needs some work before the grommet will fit!

Thanks Eric, yes that’s what I mean. How would we go along with that? I’m new to buying parts off of individual people online. Thanks!!

Okay that’s great thank you and yes somebody put a different gas tank on it I assume the old one had water in it and got rusted up or something I’m not sure; I was planning on welding a peice of sheet metal in after I shaped the ridge running down the hood and going from there. I’ll see if I can get ahold of him thank you!!

Your ranger looks great!! I hope mine turns out as good as yours!! KC9KAS said you might have a good grommet? If so I’d like to get one if you have one you’d be willing to part with. Thanks!

I guess I'm kind of new to this as well but I have a PayPal account and that's how I send stuff back and forth to the other members of Red Square.
