Hello

Looking to speak to anyone that owns a 110-4. I am in great difficulty at the moment with the pulley/drive system. Any help greatly appreciated.

Do you have the illustrated parts lists and the operator manual?

If not post the model number and serial number so we can link you to the correct info.

Hello Gerry

Thank you for your response. Yes, I have the illustrated parts list. While it has come as a great tool for other parts of the project it doesn't seem to be any use with where exactly the pulleys go on the machine. I have uploaded two photos to give you an idea of my problem. All I know is its a Toro Wheel horse 110-4

Again any help would be greatly appreciated

Here is the correct operator manual but we do not have an illustrated parts list.

You have the chassis upside down so it does not match the parts list.

The shape of the drive belt in the illustration demonstrates where the idler pulleys go.

Flat idler pulleys run outside the belt loop and v-idlers run on the inside.

Here is a later parts list. I think you should be able to figure it out from that.

If you have V-idlers or flat idlers of different diameters we might be able to help with their location.

      Hello,

I have a 1991 110-4 rear engined WheelHorse. Not the most elegant WheelHorse but it has cut my lawn pretty well up till now.

It has been very dependable but had started to run a little rough so I ordered a new airfilter and set about cleaning it up and sharpening things.

There had been some belt slipping going on and the deck belt looked thin and worn so I ordered a new after market v-belt for the deck A48.

Parts replaced and reassembled the engine is running really well but...

The deck is running really slow...so it just strokes the lawn rather than cutting it. Now the obvious culprit would be the new belt but I am not sure it is that.

Could the PTO belt be the cause? it is the one that takes all the strain every time the pto brake is applied.

Does anyone know the original spec of a 114567 belt? Just thinking my aftermarket may be a poor fit.

I also noticed that I don't appear to has a 'extension spring' on my deck, part number 112228. It appear to hold the angle of the tensioner to prevent the v-belt from rubbing. Can someone confirm that that is what it does? It appears to be impossible to obtain the part in through Toro UK so I might have to order it state side.

      Many thanks

      Tom
