Owning one Wheel Horse means you are just a recreational user.

Owning two Wheel Horses means you have an appreciation for fine machinery.

Owning three Wheel Horses means you have an attraction.

Four, it's turned into an obsession.

Five, it's pretty much a full blown addiction.

and six, well you really need to join Red Square and begin your next post with:

Hello, my name is ________________, and I have a Wheel Horse problem.

Why did your list end at six? ? ?           Lots of us have significantly more that that, heck I've got six 953s and several others too!     :ychain:

To paraphrase a quote from the movie "A River Runs Through It": There's a fine line between :wh:'s and religion...

I have to pause a minute to think how many I own. Six, or is it 7? Wait! I forgot one, it was it 2?

@Mows4three Great stuff you posted!

A few weeks ago I was looking over a Wheel Horse maintenance (computer) file I have. I counted 15 garden tractors that I had recorded. I thought there is no way I have 15 WH GT's.

I checked the files again and 15 looked correct. I went to the pole barn and "shed in a box" and only counted 13! Ha I thought...then I remembered 1 at my step daughters and 1 at my brothers house....Yep, 15 is correct!

The guys that complain about not being able to find one may want to know who is hoarding all of them.I guess I'm as guilty as anyone at eight or nine I think

Here what started years ago merely as a visual attraction to a cool looking old tractor resembling a miniature of a "real" tractor, has become a way of life. Just this last week with the mud slide and flood we had one once again proved to be an invaluable tool to help me out of a bad situation. Incredibly even the wife for the first time ever had kind words for a wheel horse, not to mention all the onlookers that simply gawked at it in amazement on what it could do.

I've been up to 8, but back down to 4 at the moment.....space is the real issue...so I go into the garage, open a quart of 90wt oil, open a pint of Rust-O-Lium Regal Red, and give a good healthy spray of Val-Spar Linen Beige and sit back with a Rock & Rye.  Heaven!!!   :occasion-xmas:  With my back...the 857 is the Horse of choice to sit on.  :handgestures-thumbupright:  Some good music is also soothing.

Dang, something is wrong i just counted mine and i only have 9. That's bad it is not an even  number. On the other hand if it was i would need another one to make 11. The fellow down the road didn't want to sell his to me. What is the matter with people like that.

As far as how many, I am up to 13 running complete ones and probably enough parts to assemble four more. It's just not easy to store them any more.

My buy/sell ratio has changed over the 25 years that I have suffered from  the dreaded WHA.

The first 20 years, I would buy 3 and sell 2 / month.

The last 5 years, I buy1 and sell 2 / month.

19, 17 running.  Still loving them and building more storage space!  Notice the horse trailer in front for a size comparison.  Sadly, my horsed only get one bay-the others already have been claimed by an antique VW and farm equipment.
