I'd be happy to pick that thing up. I work right in Portland. I was at that very same auction. You call Shane from Keenan. ...and you give him my name and I'll take care of it.

Just for the record Randy. I'm a pretty good-sized guy at 6 foot 2 and over 250 lb. I look like an adult. But really, I'm only about 5 years old.

:P

Don't sit on that tractor! If you do, you'd look like a circus bear on a tricycle! :ychain:

That's not wrong Mike!

Probably more sized for my honey. She's less than half of me.

I must say I love reading stuff like this. It definitely shows the quality of people here and is nice to know there's still good people out there.

Don't be telling people that...

I have a repp to uphold !!

:D

Mr. E. Rafuse is a generous person.

He and I have worked out a deal where in I'll buy the tractor from him.... For my Honey to ride around on.

Not me. See above pics of bears.

:ROTF:

So here's the first ride.

Sorry about the dark video. We didn't want to wait.

I did some poking around on line.

It may be a very early 60 suburban judging by the shape of the hood and transmission.

The Ponds were well known for using leftover pieces from the previous models.

Don't know about that but that is most certainly a RJ front axle & steering gear and the throttle shouts RJ. Foot rests are not correct and lift lever are 59. See if there are any casting marks on the tranny.

Its not an early 'Burb unless it's a real franken All academic still one nice little survivor.

More :text-coolphotos:are  in order for a PI. :)

BTW NO poking online unless it's here ..... the fellas here ARE the authority on such matters!

Regardless (read: I have zero valuable input), it looks great on your Honey, even in the dark!  You’re a stand up guy, no matter what I said about ya’ to work out payment with a man who said “free to anybody that wants to pick it up”!
