FatJackDurham 318 #1 Posted August 15, 2018 Ive tried to find this in the OM, in the forum, on the web, and in the demystify. What exactly does the test switch test, and how does it work?
cleat 4,936 #2 Posted August 15, 2018 The test switch on a 520 or 416 or 312 all do the same thing, just light up all the indicator lights to prove they will light up. Does not mean they will work as intended, just that the bulbs (LED's) are good.
oneroadkingman 53 #3 Posted August 15, 2018 I don't think mine is working, I know my head lites don't work.
cleat 4,936 #4 Posted August 16, 2018 Nothing to do with head lights or tail lights, just the little warning lights on the dash.
grinchsr 594 #5 Posted August 16, 2018 Can someone tell me why the oil light blinks when I depress the test switch?
cleat 4,936 #6 Posted August 16, 2018 The oil light blinks on all of my machines during test or with key on and engine not running. The Wheel Horse engineers just put a flash into that circuit to make it more visible as that would be the most important light of all.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,489 #7 Posted August 16, 2018 It flashes to get your attention. The only one that does that. Garry
