Just look at the bearing and seal cross reference pinned at the top of this section. If you need part numbers just go to the manuals section.

My wheel Horse part manual for the C-161, calls for seal 6449.  But I can not find the B-100 auto parts manual. Or a cross ref. to 6449.   need Help!!!

the seal cross ref. I only see 4 & 8 speed, no Automatic cross ref.

Garry got it for you...the 6449 is SKF 11124 and it would be the same for both horses.  :)

I am editing this to say that the above is not true...it seems he has 1" axles on the B-100.  Sorry.  :bow-blue:

You might also try National (Timken) 471652.  I started using those on my Sundtrands.  The outer lip seems more pronounced...may keep more crap out  CR green Timken red

Those cross reference numbers pinned at the top are only for manual transmissions.  I think if you read through the whole thread, we do put that #6449 seal information in there.  :)

My 1974 b80 has 1 inch axles in a 4-speed manual. Maybe the chart would give you the correct seal number using that information?

I was wondering if Wheel Horse made a transmission for autos that had 1" axles.  I thought all hydros had 1 1/8" axles.  I just hate learning something new everyday.  :occasion-xmas:

I know what you mean Steve. Right there with you. It's okay. Just take a deep breath and we can get through this together.

The 1974 B-100 Automatic parts list above states the transmission model is a 5090 on the second page that lists all the transmissions including the C120 and C-160 Auto models. So there is at least 2 automatic models with 1" axles.

The 1975 manual is for the B100 Auto model only.

Found

1972 Charger 10 model 1-0410 uses 5090 transaxle with 1" axles.

1973 10hp Auto model 1-0475 uses 5090 transaxle with 1" axles.

1973 10hp Auto model 1-0470 uses 5087 transaxle with 1" axles.

Total now 5 automatic models using 1" axles

I posted links to both B-100's because I did not know which B100 Auto he had.

Always wondered what the WasteWatcher seals were. You will see it listed on the 9878 seal page posted above.
