Suburban followed me home

Recommended Posts

This little guy has been neglected for a long time.  Not sure what I'm gonna do with him yet.

Glad it wasn’t ground up into scrap. I’d rather put it in a landscaping bed and just look at rather than know it was turned into a toaster or a Prius

Looks like what I usually start with when I do a resto. Could be a fun project.

Nice!  Regardless of what you decide to do with it... sometimes you just gotta grab it because at minimum you can get some salvage parts and/or landscape decoration out of it.

The metal would be enough for two Prius’ and a Yugo.

I feel the same when I saved the 312-8 I just picked up. He was going to scrap it. He said it doesn't work anymore and was not needed cause he just bought a new o- turn. And oh by the way yes it does run now!!

Those are few and far between in my area. I drug one home that has to be at least that bad if not worse that I intend to resto some day. I look at that one as a future resto, certainly not one to rust away as lawn art. Mine rests gathering dust in the shed until the time I am able resurrect her.
