Weird looking snow blade

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any info as to what model this blade was designed for or how rare they are? I’ve never seen one like this before. They guy said it raises and lowers by a triangular piece connected to the deck lift lever pushing a brass colored rod to the front pivot point. He said he even has the original owners manual.AC8772EE-FFEF-4D40-8E10-7DEDF636A26F.jpeg.b5a2f75d7b307c0297e8c1fa4ee7bed2.jpeg64844A13-CD1E-46EB-9AD8-7DC6880C6F7C.jpeg.d0277201bb477a21faeaa19b3d8c5cb7.jpegC555F2A8-0193-4892-81FB-84FEA5456BA8.jpeg.513d4e9575082bab12991190dcad8f1f.jpegEF87DB81-D28F-4F3B-B30D-0DCAFDC28814.jpeg.f41df5d03f58b1c424fdc05dbbc08f29.jpeg5BB3DDB7-D80F-4F12-828A-42139B322E3F.jpeg.e95e1fbc4d18f3bb867a73e4154fc4e9.jpeg

@gwest_ca Would it fit my 73’ medium frame? I can get the blade and a set of wheel weights for $90

Not without a lot of fabrication. The late long frame blades for the 300-Series are likely more plentiful. You could always use the weights if they fit your wheels and find a 260 owner wanting the blade. If you do get it study the parts list to make sure you get all the pieces. Trying to find a missing part later may be impossible.

It fits the 26x series lawn tractors, it is basically the same as the "long" frame B,C,3,4$OR500) series blades, I actually converted one like that over to work on said long frame tractors notice how the rear attachment point is different of that of medium or long frame plow frame...
