I don’t trust the tires on the trailer to get to the state line, let alone a 1300 mile round trip!

I wish I had taken a picture of the way I transported the aluminum fascia and vinyl soffit when I built our house. I tied down a 12' extension ladder at the front of the bed of my pick up and let it hang over the tailgate about six feet. The 12 foot boxes were stacked on top of the ladder and strapped down. A couple of more straps to the front tie points on the truck bed just for good measure and off I went. Probably violated a law or two, but made it home safely.
Pullstart 59,686 #25 Posted July 26, 2018 Great idea! I have a siding job coming up when the bathroom is done, and my flat bed trailer is broken AND loaded... with no interest to invest in it right now. It’s pretty worn. I was thinking of buying a 12’ 2x12 to stack siding on top of, but I already have an extension ladder! 2
