A few pics from the Owls Head transportation museum truck and tractor show.

Some of these are wheel horse tractors but I decided to put it in non Wheelhorse discussion just because it's mostly about other stuff.

This particular Tractor sits in one of the many buildings on site and it proves that the Owls Head transportation museum knows exactly what tractor should be working for them.

 

This is one of a couple owned by the museum and it is claimed to be a 1936 or 37 Toro.

 

I believe this to be a 1974 c - 160. It is a former puller tractor that was retired and now this guy just brings it to shows.

 

It's orange so it's awesome.

My dad spent many an hour at Owls Head.He always spoke highly of the collection and people there.

He's very correct.

Both are wonderful.

It's fantastic to see and hear the history of all the hundreds of displays onsite.

I  just want to be on the record here as saying that all of the photos taken are done by my honey.

I have a little bit of an artistic eye but hers is far far better and she can make the camera angle do what her minds eye is seeing.

thanks for the photos eric,  great to see the mailwing again.  it's such a beautiful plane no other like it, the Pitcairn family owned a few of these based in nj, I got to see this one a few times.  I attached a photo when we were at the airport from 1990 when I was  11 years old and my old man had the camera.  I still remember that sound when it made this low high speed pass over the runway it's still tattooed in my head!  thanks again I gotta make it up there sometime
