Machineguy 876 #1 Posted July 20, 2018 I’m not particularly a hoarder but with these little tractors I feel compelled to save everything I can for them and about them! This stuff is fun for me and I’m glad I’ve joined a forum with people who are just as crazy as me! Lol 4 8
Achto 26,199 #2 Posted July 20, 2018 The answer to the title of your post is - YES ! Glad to have you in our support group. 3 1
oliver2-44 8,770 #3 Posted July 20, 2018 As Achto said, the answer is YES, but it can get worse. While the red ones are the strongest addiction, over time it then spills into to wanting them in all colors! 5

There’s no hope for me I guess. It is amusing watching my modern green and yellow machine tremble and cry when I start my 9020 Powermax. I may need an intervention? Machineguy 876 #6 Posted July 20, 2018 (edited) I really do like how solid everything is on these little machines. When you get on a stamped sheet metal riding mower it just feels like everything is gonna break if you look at it to hard. One Grandad had an old B80 WH which was his finishing mower for around the house and the other Grandad had a MF12. Ive got a soft spot for both of these. The stuff made now is junk. I found the MF12 and my WH 700 will do until I can locate a good B80 Edited July 20, 2018 by Machineguy

The Tuul Crib 7,331 #11 Posted July 20, 2018 I am with you Stormin! These little gems can be a lot lighter on the billfold or bank account! Biggest question I hear here is "what are you going to do with it "! In the short time that I've owned these red gems I have felt this certain draw towards them. I grew up on a farm in the Midwest and the farmers coming back out in me! 😳

You are my mate in life until one of us kicks the bucket. I quit smoking for my own personal health reasons. I have significantly decreased my public and domestic swearing. I have only owned one (1) Wheel Horse tractor for 39 years. It will be 50 years old next year. I use it to mow every year (because of my mechanical & maintenance engagement with said machine, I have managed to keep it running all these years). I will not guarantee I will not purchase another, but if I do that, the purchase will be well thought out, and financed by my retirement funds. I will continue to imbibe responsibly, as I desire." rjg854 10,642 #16 Posted July 21, 2018 I'm one of the lucky ones, the little lady supports the addiction. She knows I could do a lot worse things with my time. Not only does she like these tractors, she buys things for them, she goes to the big show, I think she may even want one for herself. 2

Pullstart 58,794 #18 Posted July 21, 2018 She told me “If you go get a zero turn mower and keep 3 acres mowed for me, you can have as many Wheel Horse tractors as you want.” I had had the last words of the argument though... I sure did. “Yes Dear.” 2 2

Sarge 3,462 #24 Posted July 21, 2018 My wife complained recently when I acquired the 854 - I told her if she preferred I could get back into off-roading again instead. Argument won, for once. Sarge 2
