My two piece seat, not original but I think it looks great on my Commando 8.

"Special Part No. 100-234-Preparation WH"... It was a special option on some models... Didn't sell too well so the Ponds discontinued it...

DSC01837.JPG.f61a26db8ef997850e024d4419467d72.JPG

Seem to remember, they're crazy expensive to obtain here in the U.S. though.

hello (  Anglo traction ) thanks for the good pictures and ideas, I was really interested in the ( outside  mounting of your pto lever )  ours here in the states ,are cramped inside the dash frame mount, all you see is the lever outside. just being able to regularly get at and maintain / lube that linkage must be nice. if I had the choice I would take the (  outside mount  ) over the enclosed mount we have. pete

Originally they were Bostrom (UK) in the 70's Craig, and fitted to many Imported WHs assembled in Belgium for European market.-

They had an international patent. They were taken over by KAB (UK) and the design is little changed where they are still made as the KAB P2. Yes, the cost has risen a lot over the lsat 5 years or so, but very popular and comfortable.

Hi Pete, thanks. I'll send you a PM with clearer pics of my set up, but the tractor is a 1974 C-120 and yours must be the later 'Ironclad' late 70's model. Cerainly easier in open style.

Regards. Richard.
