Wheel Weights

Recommended Posts

Anybody want to take a crack at identifying these wheel weights? :D

They look very similiar to Bolens weights but lack the FMC or Bolens name?

They came to me on the back of the 701 I picked up recentley.

Just curious & thanks in advance.

Can't tell you what they belong on- But I'll show you what they look like on a Bronco 14, and an 867, or a 310, or a Charger..... :D

Kevin as soon as I get a correct color on them...I intend to find out. :D

John...deffiantley not Cub Cadet wheel weights...Cub wheel weights are only 25 pounders & used on the front of the Farmall Cubs too.

These are in the 40/50 pound range.

Stephen,

It's so obvious, that I'm surprised you haven't figured it out yet. Those are the cast wheel weights that are only for 1979 C-141 Automatics. They can only be used on this model and should only be used in Missouri. I definitely wouldn't want the Wheel Horse SWAT squad to beating down your garage door to confiscate those weights and hauling your horses away. I have a set of off-color plastic coated cement wheel weights - these are the ones you should be using. Now who owns a 1979 C-141 Automatic and lives in Missouri? Hmmm :D Oh, yeah, I do. :( I'll just take those cast iron ones off your hands. :P

Thanks Greg...I was just curious. :D

I was thinking the same thing but most Bolens wheel weights seem to have there mark or FMC. :P

Probably paint them red & stick them on a horse...now what kind of red paint do I need to make them fit?...LOL
