Hurley1 25 #1 Posted June 17, 2018 Hey guys. I bought my oldest son a wheelhorse 520h for $600 about 3 years ago. I took it apart and refurbished it for him. I also have a 520h myself. I certain that his engine temperature sensor went out. We both keep our tractors clean and blown off. So I don’t think it’s choking for air. Dose any of my Wheelhorse Family know wher I can get a replacement or aftermarket sensor and a part number? Thanks and we hope you enjoy on riding your horse as much as we do. thanks again.

lynnmor 6,776 #3 Posted June 21, 2018 (edited) Simply ground the sensor wire connection to see if the light comes on. If it does light, then shop for a sensor. Of course to test the sensor for high temperature operation, you would need to heat it, but I don’t have the temperature setting that is to make it switch on. i never encountered a high temperature light in the past 27 years. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,496 #4 Posted June 21, 2018 Click on the picture and again on the next page Some parts lists have it on the "Battery and Headlamp" page but the switch is no longer available from Toro. Garry

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,496 #6 Posted June 22, 2018 Does it come on and stay on or only when cranking the engine? It is possible the circuit board is designed to light the bulb while cranking the starter to serve as a bulb check. Garry
