entropy 104 #1 Posted June 13, 2018 Hi all, I have a question regarding testing a starter for this model (I think starter also fits a 520 as well) while it is disconnected from tractor and wiring harness. Can I use jumper cables to test it and how would I attach the cables to the starter in order to test it. Any help is appreciated. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
wallfish 15,910 #2 Posted June 13, 2018 Clamp the ground (-) cable to the body of the starter, TAP the positive (+) cable to the electrical post. Hold on, that starter will jump if it's good. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
