BOB ELLISON

I just purchased a k91t it's  pretty nice looking for the age what ever that is. Will it work on a 401 or a suburban.  I haven't tried to get it started yet but the PO said it ran good 4 years age. He said it came off a rototiller. Are  the k91,s like the k90t,s ??? And what does the T stand for? I don't think I can use it for anything so I may bring it to the big show to sell.

I think the t stands for rope/manual start, and s stands for starter.  I buy those up any chance I can

It will most definitely work on a suburban or a rj. This 400 and 401 both have k91t engines.

T stands for retractable start . Bob you could take it to the Big Show and I’m sure it would find a good home . :twocents-02cents: is they don’t make these anymore and finding good ones is getting harder and harder . I’d keep it just for my man cave just in case you ever do come across a RJ or Suburban that you gotta have . Paint it up :wh:red buy some more memorabilia at the show make a cool display for Bob’s upholstery shop  ! If you ever have to unload it there’s always a market for them .

Here’s you’re links to the K-series bibles Bob . Not much difference between the two . The K90 was rated at 3600RPM I believe and the K91 was rated at 4000RPM .

I'll clean the carb and tank and flush the oil out with deasel fuel before adding good oil. Ill Replace the hoses and see if it'll start. Thanks guys I knew I would learn something new here.

A k91T came standard on the 400. I'm guessing a 401 is similar
