sediment bowl question

Recommended Posts

can anyone recommend a decent sediment bowl replacement, I have several tractors some leak,  some don't, old and aftermarket.  the ones that leak always seem to leak from the same spot right at the shutoff.  kinda of annoying

Have you tried tightening the packing nut a little?  On a few I have installed a new o ring to stop the drip.

I have found that the Briggs & Stratton 690612 bowls work great. Cheap and readily available on eBay.

Is it possible to get a fitting for the gas tank with a niple to rubber hose and bypass the sediment bowl entirely?
