Dakota 70 #1 Posted May 25, 2018 (edited) Hello, I picked up a 8hp 4 speed for $100 a few days and it runs and drives good but the belt slips in 3rd gear when I take off. I’m assmuing the drive belt has stretched over it’s years of use so I’m looking for a new one. What is the length of the drive belt? FHP (Fractional horse power) belts for electric motors use the same belt dimensions but for 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 3/4 hp. That's where the fractional comes from. Get a power rated belt designed for the higher hp tractor application. Garry

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,488 #6 Posted May 26, 2018 They say it replaces the 7473 so we have to take their word on it. Garry
