Tgtack 779 #1 Posted May 20, 2018 (edited) So I have a model 654 that I bought last year that had a restoration started on it 22 years ago. The problem is the hood. Repairs were not done properly, so I have to rework it. The rubber grommet that was installed for the filler neck is very hard with age. Has anyone ever removed one without destroying it? Any source for a replacement? I do not want to try and mask around it when I repaint the hood. Edited May 21, 2018 by Tgtack
RandyLittrell 3,797 #2 Posted May 20, 2018 (edited) https://www.amazon.com/Lot-Large-Rubber-Grommets-Diameter/dp/B01NCIWGM6 Here is a listing for 2' rubber grommets, I'm sure most sizes are available. Most things used on old garden tractors were usually parts that were already available, not custom built for them. When looking for parts, sometimes just search for the size of the part, not just a wheel horse part. Randy Edited May 20, 2018 by RandyLittrell
