Hub Puller?

Recommended Posts

hunterguy92

Well the time has come for all new tranny seals..

Is anyone making a hub puller or have a 5-lug hub sitting around? I've done some searching but to no avail..

I really don't want to use a 3-jaw puller and risk breaking a hub. What does everyone use that's readily available?

If you have a bottle jack, some 3/8" all-thread and an old hub you can do this.

If you do not have an extra hub, an automotive brake rotor can be drilled.  I have some brake rotors that are close enough that just enlarging a previously factory hole or two is all it takes.

Great pictures,you guys

:handgestures-thumbupright:      Great idea, the Ford/MoPar five hole 4 1/2" bolt patern is the same as the :wh:.

I was so impressed with the puller that I saved the image, but couldn't remember who to credit for the idea. I have now rectified that shortcoming!
