Excellent! Always found that model interesting, with the fiberglass hood:wh:

Very nice tractor.  It seems lime a nice transition to the black hood style tractors.

Man, you seem SUPER excited about that one Tony! Nice Score! Just don't see too many with good fiberglass fenders.

You must be one of those Briggs Black Hood Guys!

The rear fender on this is fiberglass and thick / strong... I dont think they break nearly as easy as the later "junk" plastic ones. It is unique... the hood / fender / dash tower is completly different then the later blackhoods and I LOVE the headlight arrangement. Yes its the wimpy c style parking lamp setup but the lens makes it look tough.

I have the exact same tractor in the automatic version. I mean same exact condition. I would love to park them side by side!

You should bring them to my fall meet and greet and we will get some pics.

Nice find! Those headlight lenses are rare as frogs hair. I had that model as my first horse. In fact, I may have a set of decals....if you decide to go that route.

i love the way that twin Briggs powers that beast. Mine was the Hydro version. Might have kept it if it had been an 8 speed. I love the fiberglass hood.

I just may do that Steve! I honestly wish I could load a truck and trailer and bring all 15 that I have. I really enjoyed going to your place last fall and I will be back this year.

I might be partial to the 78 C – 161s but that is a great machine. And the headlight lens looks to be in decent shape.

Steering wheel was broke when i picked it up. Ill get it running and use vice grips on the hex steering wheel hub thats left. Then gotta get the pin out and perhaps cut hub off. Thats why no steering wheel in pics.... 1st time I touched it the thing fell off.
