andyj 0 #1 Posted May 8, 2018 Hi Just wondered if there is anyone on here that can help? I recently bought a 227 - 5 tractor (serial no E217K502) which has a cutting deck (serial no E536XR01). The drive belt between the tractor and cutting deck broke so I looked for a replacement - couldn't find a genuine replacement so measured the old one - 1060mm and bought a replacement from belting online. Replacing it looked straight forward - on pulley to the other, However the new belt is very slack to the point that it slips and I can't see how to tension it! So the questions are:- is there a tensioner that I'm missing or is it simply that I've bought the wrong size belt. Any Advice on how to tension or correct size belt would be greatly appreciated - grass growing at a rate of Knots! Thanks Andy UK Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You can download the parts list from there plus the belt dimensions have been added to the first page that comes up.
