WHX?? 46,724 #1 Posted April 17, 2018 (edited) So on this new to me 1077 K241 I got it running. After having one of my very many I shouda done that thoughts. I immediately shut it down not knowing what the oil level/condition was. Pull the dip stick to find this. Where it was cut looked to be clean as tho someone had did it on purpose. Hard to imagine it broke due to some engine internal letting loose. A PO thought the oil level should be higher? Is there any reason for this that you guys would know of. Operating on a slope is the only thing I can think of. Will be pulling the stick on another 241 to see what they should be in length. wallfish 15,918 #3 Posted April 17, 2018 I'm guessing they kept filling the oil with the amount listed in the manual and couldn't figure out why it seemed over filled. Instead of just checking it with the filler cap unscrewed and resting on the edge of the hole, they made it easier to check by threading the cap in to check it!
