Pogo 57 10 #1 Posted April 13, 2018 Just came across a box of Halogen bulbs that would for my C125. Are they usable or do they draw too much power? I don't want to burn up my wiring harness. Thanks.
953 nut 51,611 #2 Posted April 13, 2018 Halogen lamps were used in the 300 and 400 series, can't see any problem using them.
ebinmaine 63,070 #3 Posted April 13, 2018 Most of the bulbs that are marketed for sale in the United States are marked with voltage and amperage limitations. In the past I have had bad experiences with halogen bulbs melting or deforming plastic lenses or housings. Personally, I would be more concerned that they will be too hot by temperature. Not too hot by Electric draw. Just keep an eye for plastic deformation but you should be fine. 3
