Wheel Horse never published production serial numbers.

What is the 919485 serial on? Have recorded the few that show up but only do so if I know what model they are for and that is where they get posted.

Model 1-0350 would be a 1973 Raider 12 8-speed I think.  Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me will chime in.

Most '73 models are known as a "No Name", but some of the early '73 production used up the remaining Raider parts. The Ponds were notoriously thrifty.

Some of these models were sold in Europe where they continued to use the Raider name for a few years after 1972.

Toro identifies the 1-0350 as a Raider and we have some of the serial numbers for these but totally different from the North American serials. Click on the picture

I recently purchased a Raider 12. I was told that it was a 68, but I have no idea. Everything has been painted over. Can you tell me where I could find the Model #? I would like to find some parts for it. Thanks.

Where could I find the cover for the starter belt. It looks naked without it.

:WRS:        Best place to start looking would be in the Wanted section of our Classifieds.

Look up high on the flat panel in front of the seat just below the dash panel. The ID plates were there for many years.

My guess is you have an early 1968 Raider 12 model 1-6231 because it has the combination starter/generator. During the 1968 model year they changed to a Bendix starter and alternator stator to charge the battery. When this happened they continued to use the same 1-6231 model number so we identify them as early 1968 production and late 1968 production.

We do not have a lot on the early models. Click on the pictures.

Late production so the engine and tractor wiring are different. The rest should be the same.
