I have fought every bolt on my 55. Can't get the 7" pulley or right hand hub any ideas I've tried pullers with heat put about as much pressure as I thought they could take without damaging. Any thoughts. Tim

@953 nut.... Heckofanidea!

My first couple thoughts were:

What type of Penetrating oil are you using?

How much patience have you used? or do you have?

Definitely headed the right way with the heat but maybe just need more?

Ok that's 3 thoughts, not a couple.

I've tried every kind and a couple of. Mixed types and about a months worth of patience. Is there a good pullers I'm  missing? It is the oldest 55 to date according to the # and Clay I'm determined to save it an as many original parts as I can. Thanks for any help. Tim

I haven't had a hub be as adamantly resistant to relocation as that yet.

I like @953 nut 's idea a lot and that would not ruin the pieces.

There are some fantastic self made pullers on this site.

The best I've seen focus on using five points of contact instead of 3.

Face plate mount through lug bolts seem better than edge mount.

Any pics of yours?

Not often is there one that just won't move..... we just need to find the right touch.
