The Slot hitch is sold!

551 deck is sold.

RJhood is sold

Steering Wheel sold

D series Rims Sold

Here are some photos of additional items I would bring to show if someone wants them. If you see something let me know. Too many smalls to break out.

the tranny is from 551 and has the hubs. Turns but needs cleaned out at minimum. Hood is an RJ hood I believe. Rims are off front of GT14. Otherwise a lot but not all came from GT14. I can’t give part numbers or specifically indicate model other than GT14 or Other.

I will be bring several items to sell at this years Big Show,

1)  I will have my replacement hood gaskets ( Original Part # 2767 ) for the 1965 thru 1968 Lawn Rangers,  603/604/654 and 704  that had the Tecumseh motyor gas tank filler neck thru the hood.  This gasket goes around the neck on the hood.

$5 at the show.

2.  I will be sellingSlide Blocks ( Original Part # 6720 )for the older Wheel Horse mower decks..  $15  a pair  NLA from Toro

Selling a set of two replacement nylon  Slide Blocks for  (Part # 6720) older Wheel Horse Mower Decks.  These were used on the 36 inch decks  (and maybe 42)  to hold the idler slide arm down .   These new slide blocks are made out of  Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene  (UHMW) an industrial grade material for long lasting service.

The older mower slide blocks do wear and a replacement is no longer available from TORO/Wheel Horse for this part.  The thinner under slide is usually still good to reuse from your original mower deck parts so save for placing under the slide bar.

Most of these Wheel Horse mower decks that used this part wer built in the 1970 to 1980 time period.
The photos show originals and the replacements .   Originals were rounded on the ends but the replacement fine.    I recommend putting new bolts on when changing these.

3.  I also will have two early Wheel Horse  snowplow/dozer blades with frame side plates.   An original RJ  snowplow unpainted with all the parts  for $200.   A combination Suburban Plow with RJ frame, repainted and new decals, frame plates and  lift frame for $150.

The Original RJ  SNOWPLOW  HAS BEEN  SOLD !

@Lane Ranger I'll take a set. Those  work on my 48in deck per the parts list.

I had to make the old ones work with washers as spacers.

Would that rubber gasket work for a Suburban?

Gaskets only work on 2 1/5 inch hood hole for gas tank  neck .  Suburban gas tank hole in hood is smaller. RJ !

Bob:  The  slide blocks wear due to rusty or worn bolts and the slide bar wearing out and  moving off center.    Usually the  bold base nylon pieces under the slide bar are still good to reuse. If not I have cut new ones out of  thin sheets of plastic like material.  Important that the  deck be cleaned well, rust free and painted before changing bolts, etc.

Not original but due to hood damage I decided to enlarge the filler hole and use one on my Suburban. I love how it turned out. :)

It just hit me. I love the restorations back to as close to original as possible but I don't really go that route as you can see on my 400. I'd prefer the cast 61 footrests over the 60 style. If someone is looking for the 60 style and has a pair of the 61 style I'm game to swap them out. :)

Good luck with that Bob, those cast ones seem to be getting very hard to find. How did you get your filler neck to extend out that far?

Anyone coming that has a 16-3/8” length “D” series axle shaft laying around? Looking for one for another gt14/eaton 1100 swap. Thanks.

You're probably right but maybe I'll get lucky.

I had another issue with the filler. The tank straps aren't original and a bunch thicker lowering the filler even further. I couldn't find an extended filler so I bought a new tank off Ebay and removed the neck. Much to my amazement it fit and soldered up perfectly on top of the original neck. :handgestures-thumbupright:

Ummm, RJs didn't have foot rests.

Do you mean one of those angled shoe shaped rests? 1961  or one of those bent diamond plate rests? 1960

Nope. It is the cast style that is rounded and the bottom has a lip your boot sits in.

An early straight one? You say left side so assuming you mean the angled one. Got an angled one for ya but it's stuck on the shaft which was cut off. You can have it.
