Mattd160 73 #1 Posted March 21, 2018 I have a D160 with a onans b43m. I need a carb kit and when I look up my carb which is 146-0479 it comes up that the number carb is for a b48m. Does my engine have the wrong carb?. It has a electric fuel pump which don't seem right
953 nut 51,519 #2 Posted March 21, 2018 With a few decades of previous owners making changes it shouldn't come as a surprise. The electric pump is preferable to the factory pump. 1

boomers_influence 106 #4 Posted March 21, 2018 matt the 146-0479 was first used on the P 220. ( same CID as the B 48M ) it has a # 238 venturi and a # 134 main jet if the P.O. wanted to use a Nikki carb for the B 43M he should have used the 146-0412 or the 146-0478. ( both have a # 205 venturi and a # 120 main jet ) boomers_influence@yahoo.com 651 437 2826 M-F 10-7 S-S 12-6 cent time. thank you. boomer ( the used onan engine parts guy, also NOS and new )
