As some of you know i Purchased that 417-8, i need a Fuel Pump yet & a New Battery this Friday coming. My Concern is i rebuilt the Carb, i backed both screws out a turn & a Half, is that the correct way or just 1 full turn ? How do you all do it. Thanks for your help. WHX?? 46,673 #3 Posted March 12, 2018 That's probably close enough for the women we go out with..... maybe a 'nother half turn out. Should get the motor running and tweak from there. I prefer to turn out a little farther than book and find the sweet spots from there.
