hello there

WHNJ701

after reading all the good info over the years I decided to join, I own several other brand garden tractors but my start was with wheel horse along time ago when i was little and my grandfather took me to the dealer when he purchased his.  I still have the hat the salesman gave me.

anyway I have a 854 and recently purchased a 551 and 701 (barnfinds) which will be restored hence the reason I signed up.  look forward to using the site!

More like from the frying pan on to the broken stove. Aside from the cold months, I like it up here. No where near as crowded, plenty of lakes for close by fishing and it's a bit more scenic than the flat lands of Jersey. Property taxes are much cheaper too!

thanks everyone!  I will post the progress of the 551 and 701 in a new topic.  never messed a 5.5hp lauson/tech before I don't know if that's good or bad??  good news is these tractors haven't been messed with, the PO had them stored for 25/30 years in a basement and are complete aside from a few small items (which is rare for me usually I am sucker for the rusted incomplete ones everyone turns away, I like the challenge)
